Training weekends

The whole hall and garden can be hired for training weekends for groups. The exclusive use of the whole building and garden, with self catering and in door camping, provides an ideal team bonding environment. We have hosted RNLI, Coast guards and The RAF Mountain Rescue teams. The surrounding area has excellent out door activities to support training weekends.

Christmas fair 2024

There was three rooms full of craft stall holders, displaying an array of items made by very talented locals. The Dinas Wellbeing Hub provided refreshments, soup, cheese, tea, coffee and an amazing selection of locally made and donated cakes. Mulled wine and prosecco, donated by Bob and Maria, and…the real Father Christmas.

Autumn Show 2024

We had 200 exhibits in a wide range of categories including craft, vegetables, flowers, quilting, drinks, cookery for juniors and seniors. Congratulations to Morgan and Lucy for junior and adult best in show.

Summer Garden Party, July 2024.

A beautiful day for our summer garden party with barbecue and bar, puddings and cakes. There were two free bouncy castles, games in the playing field and live music in the garden.

Dinas Open Gardens

Defibrillator Training 2024

Defibrillator training was provided by staff from Paul Sartori – Friday 12th January 2024, 18:00. Free Demonstration – It could save a life.

Hub Christmas lunch 2023

The hub Christmas lunch was fully booked to the maximum capacity of eighty, a full house! Lunch included a superb coq au vin with roasties and veg, wine, roulade, chocolate brownies, coffee, stollen, chocolates and mince pies. We had some very generous donations from individuals and businesses for the raffle which raised over £400 for “POINT” youth centre in Fishguard.

After the meal there was entertainment including a quiz and our local Welsh male choir Bois Carn Ingli. The choir performed “Happy (94th!) birthday” to a great grandmother, who was part of a table with four generations.

A very special thank you to the Dinas Wellbeing Hub team and helpers for a very enjoyable event.

Christmas fair 2023

Organised superbly by Pat and Alan Francis, with all proceeds going to school funds.

The main hall was full of craft stall holders, Garn Fach housed an impressive display of our blacksmith items, and Dinas Wellbeing Hub provided refreshments, cake, soup, tea, coffee and biscuits. Mulled wine and prosecco from Bob and Simon, and a range of children’s activities run by Mani and Nick.

Autumn Show, September 2023

We had 240 exhibits in a wide range of categories including craft, vegetables, flowers, quilting, drinks, cookery for juniors and seniors. Entrance exhibiting, coffee and cake were all free due to the generosity of the Community Council and the Dinas Wellbeing Hub who funded the entire event. However we were delighted by the generosity of the voluntary donations. This was a great opportunity to meet and mingle and admire some very impressive exhibits.

Summer Garden Party, July 2023.

Scones with strawberry jam and cream, Pimm’s and live music in the garden. Games in the playing field.
