
Training weekends
The whole hall and garden can be hired for training weekends for groups. The exclusive use of the whole building and garden, with self catering and in door camping, provides an ideal team bonding environment. We have hosted RNLI, Coast guards and The RAF Mountain Rescue teams. The surrounding area has excellent out door activities to support training weekends.


3Cs fund raiser for the Air Ambulance
The 3Cs (Coffee, Cake and Chat) had a fund raiser for the Welsh Air Ambulance and had a great turn out. The team bake cakes every month for the last Friday and provide an opportunity to meet and chat. The event raised a fantastic £425.


The prize for best cake surely went to the helicopter cake modelled on the real Air Ambulance helicopter that supported the residents of Dinas the previous week.


Eisteddfod Big Breakfast
The Eisteddfod Big Breakfast in February 2026 provided an “All you can eat” cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. All the ingredients were donated by Dinas Wellbeing Hub and raised over £1,350 for the Eisteddfod.


Burns Night
Burns Night 2026 was a spectacular evening with Burns poems, bagpipes, haggis and lots and lots of whisky!

Christmas Hub Lunch
The Christmas Hub Lunch 2025 was a subsidised full meal for £8 consisting of nibbles. roast beef and all the trimmings, wine, roulade, compote and cream, tea or coffee, and chocolates. The entertainment included a Christmas quiz and a choir of 5-7 year olds from Bro Ingli primary school.





Christmas fair
We had three rooms full of craft stall holders, displaying an array of items made by very talented locals along with a live demonstration of the Blacksmith’s art. The Dinas Wellbeing Hub provided refreshments, soup, cheese, tea, coffee and an amazing selection of locally made and donated cakes. Mulled wine and prosecco, donated by Bob and Maria, and…the real Father Christmas with elves!









Eisteddfod Concert
The Eisteddfod Concert in October 2025 had a Full choir and Ukulele sing along. With a lovely spread of food from The Wellbeing Hub, and a well stocked bar, this Eisteddfod fundraiser raised over £1,100. This was a very enjoyable event and a massive thanks to Rhys the compere, Decibelles ladies choir, RocCana backing band and the “Funky Pluckers” Ukulele group.











NHS / Jig-So Jamboree August 2025
Jig-So, (Pembrokeshire) Family Information Services (FIS) and NHS support teams combined to host a Jamboree for young children with lots of games and a bouncy castle! Free advice for young parents was provided by the NHS and FIS support teams. The event was free to all with very healthy, and delicious, fresh fruit and snacks provided.



Summer Garden Party 2025 July
Our summer garden party had sun, barbecue, bar, puddings, cakes, two free bouncy castles and games in the playing field and in the garden.

Seal Bay talk – Eisteddfod fund raiser 2025
We had a very full house for a special talk on operation “Seal Bay” by the police officers originally involved. This event was a fund raiser for the 2026 Eisteddfod. The hall, food and drink (provided by Dinas Wellbeing Hub) and the speakers donated their services to enable us to raise over £1,500.

Fundraiser – Cancer Research 2025
During the Victory in Europe May bank holiday three young girls, Erin, Angharad and Cerys have raised over £1,600 for Dinas Wellbeing Hub and Cancer Research. They created hand made bags for sale, collected raffle prizes, created posters and sourced all the food and drink. Hugh, our local councillor, brought his Shire horse and trap to give rides in the playing field. A beautiful day, excellent food and generous donations brought out the crowds.

We had 200 exhibits in a wide range of categories including craft, vegetables, flowers, quilting, drinks, cookery for juniors and seniors. Congratulations to Morgan and Lucy for junior and adult best in show.

A beautiful day for our summer garden party with barbecue and bar, puddings and cakes. There were two free bouncy castles, games in the playing field and live music in the garden.





Dinas Open Gardens

Defibrillator Training 2024
Defibrillator training was provided by staff from Paul Sartori – Friday 12th January 2024, 18:00. Free Demonstration – It could save a life.
Hub Christmas lunch 2023
The hub Christmas lunch was fully booked to the maximum capacity of eighty, a full house! Lunch included a superb coq au vin with roasties and veg, wine, roulade, chocolate brownies, coffee, stollen, chocolates and mince pies. We had some very generous donations from individuals and businesses for the raffle which raised over £400 for “POINT” youth centre in Fishguard.
After the meal there was entertainment including a quiz and our local Welsh male choir Bois Carn Ingli. The choir performed “Happy (94th!) birthday” to a great grandmother, who was part of a table with four generations.




A very special thank you to the Dinas Wellbeing Hub team and helpers for a very enjoyable event.
Christmas fair 2023
Organised superbly by Pat and Alan Francis, with all proceeds going to school funds.
The main hall was full of craft stall holders, Garn Fach housed an impressive display of our blacksmith items, and Dinas Wellbeing Hub provided refreshments, cake, soup, tea, coffee and biscuits. Mulled wine and prosecco from Bob and Simon, and a range of children’s activities run by Mani and Nick.




Autumn Show, September 2023
We had 240 exhibits in a wide range of categories including craft, vegetables, flowers, quilting, drinks, cookery for juniors and seniors. Entrance exhibiting, coffee and cake were all free due to the generosity of the Community Council and the Dinas Wellbeing Hub who funded the entire event. However we were delighted by the generosity of the voluntary donations. This was a great opportunity to meet and mingle and admire some very impressive exhibits.
