The Cwm-Yr-Eglwys Regatta is an annual event normally in the first week of August held at Cwm-Yr-Eglwys beach.

Regatta competitions
The regatta competitions including sailing, rowing. swimming, sand castles, crab fishing and finishing with the children’s raft race on the closing Saturday. After a week of events there was a beach party with bar, barbecue and band.

125th Anniversary
in 2024 we celebrated the 125th anniversary of the first Dinas Regatta in 1899. To mark the occasion a bench was commissioned and was given pride of place in the old church grounds.
